Victor Paul Politzi, 93, of Vista, New York, passed away on Wednesday, November 12th, 2014. He was born to the late Lena and Joseph Politzi on July 14th, 1921 in New York, New York. Victor married the late Phyllis Politzi (née Porta) in 1948, and they lived together in Brooklyn, before relocating to Vista in 1959. Victor served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946, where he was stationed with the 534th Engineer Amphibious Command in the Pacific Theater during World War 2. He received a Bronze Star Medal for his services. Victor is survived by his five children, Helena Goldstein of Long Island; George Politzi of Vista; Paul Politzi of Oswego; Victor Politzi of Albany; and Matthew Politzi of Adelaide, Australia. He is also survived by his sisters Frances and Dolores, and six grandchildren, Anthony, Nina, Angela, Ace, Samantha, and Leonardo.
