Loving husband and father, Stephen W. Pomazi was 73 years old, when he passed away on Friday, December 1 ^st , 2017, unexpectedly. He was the beloved husband of Janice Melfi Pomazi, recently celebrating their 53 ^rd wedding anniversary. Born in Norwalk, CT, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary Murphy Pomazi. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 3 loving children, Stephanie J Wade, and Laurie G. Pomazi, and Stephen J. Pomazi and wife Ilarina, 5 loving grandchildren, Lauren, Christina, Bruna, Thomas, and Julia, and one great granddaughter, Ava. Stephen is also survived by his two sisters, many loving family members consisting of brother in-laws, sister-in laws, nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Most people know him as generous, hardworking and passionate. The man. The fish. The roofer. Stephen was talented and successful Master Coppersmith and the owner and operator of Solar Sheet Metal and Roofing, Inc. in Bethel for 45 years. Stephen was a life-long member of the Stamford Rod and Game Club, the Miramichi-Salmon Association, Trout Unlimited and a member of the Connecticut Salmon Association. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife and family. He especially loved to spend time at his Canadian fishing camp where he could be found wearing his waders, fly fishing till his heart was content.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 5 ^th from 5 to 8 PM in the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church Street, Georgetown, CT.
