Stephen "Steve" Atkins died on November 19, 2025. He was 65 years old.
Steve was born December 26, 1959 in Vancouver BC and was always so proud of his Canadian
roots. He lived the majority of his life in Wilton CT where he was a graduate of Wilton High
School. He went on to study interior design at Fairfield University.
He was a long time design consultant at Crate and Barrel for over 25 years where he was
known for his kindness and his ability to talk to anyone. Outside of work he was a devoted son,
brother and uncle. He took an active role in the lives of his beloved niece and nephew with
whom he always was happy to be the "fun" uncle. His family will miss him immensely especially
his mother Anne with whom he had an especially close relationship throughout his life.
Steve was most happy after a day by the pool soaking in the sun. His dry sense of humor kept
all his friends and family smiling and laughing. Steve had a taste for the finer things in life with
his impeccable fashion and collection of vintage watches and cashmere sweaters. He is survived by his mother Margarett Anne Atkins, 93, his two brothers Dave and Michael Atkins, his nephew Myles Atkins and his niece Margaux Albert. He is predeceased by his father
Glenn Atkins and his beloved, soul cat of 21 years Trevor.

To honor Steve's wishes, there will be no funeral held. Friends and family are encouraged to
take a moment to celebrate Steve's life in their own way over the coming weeks.
