Rolf H. Ochsner, age 96, of Redding, passed away peacefully at RidgeCrest Health Center on Friday, January 8, 2021.
Rolf was born in West Hoboken, NJ on July 6, 1924, and was the son of Charles and Marta (Kusterer) Ochsner. Rolf proudly served his country during WW II in the United States Navy. He was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY. Rolf retired from Robertshaw Controls in Milford, CT where he met the love of his life, E. Irene Ochsner who passed away in 2014. They were happily married for 47 years, were avid skiers at Stratton Mountain and enjoyed spending time with families and friends as they traveled the world together.
He is survived by his daughter Lylette Macdonald and her husband Robert of North Fort Myers, FL; his niece Linda G. Staurovsky; predeceased in death by his nephews Russell and Ronald Staurovsky who are survived by their wives Anne and Nancy Staurovsky.
