It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Rob" Raymond Prosio, who departed this world on September 2, 2026, after a courageous battle with lymphoma. Born on April 27, 1955, in Norwalk, Connecticut, Rob was a beacon of joy and warmth to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rob was the beloved son of the late Amerigo (Bob) and Louise Prosio. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Susan Prosio, whose memory he held dear. Together, Rob and Sue shared a life full of adventure and laughter, often participating in motorcycle races across the Northeast. Rob’s passion for motorcycling was not only a personal joy but something he loved to share with others. He taught family and friends how to ride, and loved recounting his thrilling riding experiences over the years. Rob was a man of great character, known for his quick wit and ability to bring smiles to those around him with a well-timed joke. His sense of humor and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone he met. He is survived by his loving children, Andrew and Evan Prosio, and their spouses Tiffany and Allison respectively, who carry on his legacy of love and laughter. Rob was a devoted grandfather to five beautiful grandchildren: Ryan, Emily, Hailey, Leah, and Eric Prosio, who brought immense joy to his life. Rob’s companion, Laurie Griffel, also remains to cherish the many memories they shared. A service to celebrate Rob's life will be held on September 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM at St. Mary's Cemetery, located on CT-53 in Bethel, CT. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and pay their respects to a man who gave so much of himself to others.
