Leslie Harriman, of West Redding, Bethel and New Fairfield, passed away peacefully on Sept. 13 ^th at the age of 88. The son of Robert and Helen Harriman, 'Les' and his late sister Ida were raised atop West Redding's Umpawaug Hill. He was valedictorian of Danbury High School, attended Yale University and spent 40 years teaching in Ridgefield public schools. While working in Ridgefield, he met his loving second wife Justine Aspinwall who passed in 2021. Les is survived by his first wife Carolyn, their three children Jennifer, Scott and Chris, his grandson Marco, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held this Saturday (17 Sept) morning at the Bouton Funeral Home in Georgetown.  Services will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 11:00 AM.  A short service at the Umpawaug Cemetery will follow.
