Ruscoe, Peter W. of Newtown, formerly of Redding, died unexpectedly on January 8, 2026 with his brother by his side. He was born on August 24, 1953 to the late Harold P. and Mildred S. Ruscoe.

He is survived by his twin brother David, his sisters, Catherine Ray of Marshfield, MA and Tricia (Jim) Bynum of Berthoud, CO as well as 1 nephew and 3 nieces, his aunt Carol (Alan) Lusby of WA, his uncle Frank Sporie of PA and many cousins.

Peter was a gentle soul who loved his family and his animals. He was a gifted guitar player and was part of the musical ensemble at St. John's Parish in Sandy Hook prior to its closing.
