Patricia Nolan Santelle passed away on February 25, 2026, at Bridgeport Hospital, following a short illness. Born on March 13, 1938, in New Haven, Connecticut she was the third of four children born to Vincent and Edna Nolan.  She spent her formative years in Derby, Connecticut where she was known as "Patty" to friends and family and graduated from Derby High School.  She earned her Bachelors Degree from Saint Joseph's College, in West Hartford.

She married Joseph Santelle in 1975 and together they resided in Darien and Rowayton for over 21years. They moved south to the Wilmington area of North Carolina where they resided for another 29 years before returning to Trumbull, Connecticut last June to be closer to family.

Patricia spent years working as a travel agent, a profession that complemented her passion for being a world traveler. When she was not exploring the globe, she found happiness in simple pleasures like playing tennis, enjoying a game of bridge, reading a good book, or catching a film on Turner Classic Movies.

Known for her sociable and loyal nature, Patricia was exceptional at keeping up with people. She cherished her relationships and maintained close bonds with friends for over 50 years. Her kindness also extended to the broader community, where she volunteered at the local thrift shop and served as a reading mentor to elementary children.

Faith was a central part of Patricia's life. A devout Catholic, she dedicated many years to serving her church community in North Carolina as a Eucharistic Minister. She is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph Santelle, and her two children from her first marriage, son, Barry (Sao) Marchessault Jr., and daughter, Mary Beth (Steve) Gilbert, her Stepdaughters, Susi (Rob) Petersen, and Judy (Billy) Nizolek, grandchildren, Piper and Jack Gilbert, and step grandchildren, Christian Petersen and Cassie Nizolek.

Patricia is also survived by her sister Jean.  She was predeceased by her brothers Jack and Bob.

At this time, all services will be held privately and at the convenience of her family.
