Obituary

Norma R. Topalian, age 97, of Weston, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Norwalk Hospital. She was the widow of Harry H. Topalian.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts on June 18, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas Caras and Edith Reynolds. Norma worked as a secretary at General Foods until she took on the fulltime role of Mother and Homemaker. She was a creative and passionate decorator and animal lover and advocate. She began running in the early days of fitness awareness and was still working out on the treadmill days before her illness struck. Norma was a big fan of Abraham Lincoln, Josephine Baker, Liberace, Betty White, Larry David, and Michael C. Hall, and enjoyed listening to music and watching movies and shows while enjoying meals.

Norma is survived by her sons Harry John and Gregory Michael Topalian, Greg's wife Andrea and their children Olivia, Kylie and Derek, her brother-in-law George Topalian and his daughters Cara, Virginia, Joan and Kerri, her niece Roberta Babigian and her grand-nephews Steve and Robert Babigian.

A Celebration of Norma's life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church Street, Georgetown (Wilton) CT.
