Mark S. Clelford, age 54, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2017 at the Regional Hospice in Danbury after an eight month battle with esophageal cancer.
He was born January 1, 1963 in Birmingham, England and immigrated to the US with his parents when he was 5 years old. He later became a US citizen when he was 17 years old.

Mark was a graduate of Fairfield Prep and attended Sacred Heart University. He work for many years at Silver Hills Hospital, New Canaan where he was responsible for the IT department and later self-employed. In his spare time, he was an avid reader and history buff. He also loved animals, particularly cats.

Mark leaves behind his parents, Doug and Terry, his sister, Dana and Kate his partner he met at Silver Hills over 30 years ago as well as many other family members and friends.

Visiting hours will be held at the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church Street, Wilton on Wednesday Oct. 25, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm follow by a service at 7:30 pm officiated by Anne Romano.
