Kathleen F. O'Brien, age 66, of Redding passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of 41 years of Raymond J. O'Brien.

Born in Queens, NY on October 21, 1955, and raised in Merrick, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Patricia Gilligan Crawford. Kathy and Ray raised their family in Ridgefield before moving to Redding five years ago. Kathy loved spending time with her husband, four daughters, grandchildren, and lifelong friends. She enjoyed staying active through spin classes and walks outdoors. Kathy loved to read, travel and always enjoyed having a meal and a glass of wine out. She loved being a mother and grandmother and spoiled her grandchildren whenever possible. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Kathy is survived by her husband Raymond, her daughters Christine (Doug) Fitzpatrick, Maureen (Brad) Hilker, Carolyn (Mike) Hutwagner, and Megan O'Brien as well as her 4 grandchildren Connor, Hadley, and Aiden Fitzpatrick and Finn Hutwagner, her siblings Brian (Gail) Crawford, Christopher (June) Crawford and Maureen (Kevin) Sullivan and countless close friends.
