Julia Andrews Stearns age 61, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2015 in her residence at Regency House in Wallingford, CT. Julia was born February 28, 1954 in Yonkers, New York and was adopted by John Andrews and Julia Howard Andrews of Greenwich, CT. Known to family and friends as Judy, she had a lifelong love for the beach and especially the island of Nantucket. Most of all she loved being a mother to her two children, Emily Stearns Tepper of Bethel, CT and Daniel Andrews Stearns of Redding, CT. Judy is also survived by her brother John C. Andrews Jr. of Bellevue, Nebraska, her nephew Johnathan Andrews, son-in-law Gary Tepper and her loving former spouse Gary Stearns. A celebration of her life will take place at a date and time to be announced.
