Joan Aspbury Howell, age 82 passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Danbury Hospital. She was the widow of James Howell Sr.

Born in Jamaica, Queens, New York on February 2, 1937 she was a daughter of the late George and Ethel Landolt Aspbury. Joan was an avid painter and also loved to cook, especially baking.

She is survived by her three children, Kristin Howell Brooks of Weston, Caroline Howell Schottmuller of Weston and James Howell Jr. of Waterbury, five grandchildren and a niece and nephew who will all miss her dearly.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 35 Northfield Road, Weston CT 06883.
