Jeanne D.
Elliott
Feb 1, 1935 — Feb 23, 2026
The family of Jeanne D. Elliott is saddened to announce her peaceful passing on February 23, 2026. Born on February 1, 1935 in Queens, New York to Eleanore and John Duport, she was the second of three daughters. After graduating from Catholic high school and secretarial school, she worked in Manhattan for several years. After contemplating becoming a nun, she met the love of her life, Warren who became her devoted husband for almost 68 years. Following their nuptials, Jeanne and Warren first settled in Long Island and then in Westchester County where they raised their 3 children, Mark, Beth and Kathy. During these years, Jeanne continued to work part time at Calico Corners until she discovered her second career as a chiropractic assistant. She was an avid gardener, church volunteer, animal lover, beach go-er and sailor. She loved spending time with her children and their families, playing games, and always lending a helpful hand with her grandchildren. Some of her fondest memories were summering in Breezy Point as a child, family parties, playing "May I" with her family and friends, and sailing Long Island Sound, up the coast to Maine as well as down to the Bahamas with Warren on "My Bride II".
She is survived by her husband, Warren, her children and their spouses, Mark and Regina Elliott, Beth Dewey and Sean McKenna, Kathy and Carl Pfanzelt, as well as 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents as well as her 2 sisters and their spouses, Anne and Al Fischer and Mariel and John Clark.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11am at St. Patrick's Church, Bedford, New York. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the following charities:
