Jean Marie Dorn Lowman, age 95, of Redding, CT passed away on November 18, 2015 at Meadow Ridge Health Care Center. Jean was born on December 23, 1919, in South San Francisco, CA, the daughter of LeRoy Dorn and the former Cecil Gomes. During World War II, she worked for the Department of Navy in the personnel division overseas where she met her husband, the late Albert Henry Lowman. Albert and Jean were married for 60 years until his passing in 2006.
Mrs. Lowman is survived by her 3 children, her daughter Mary Wells and her husband Gregg, her daughter Nancy LaBadie and her husband Robert and her son Bruce Lowman and his wife Teresita. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Brooke Wells, Nichole LaBadie, Michelle LaBadie, Amber Lowman and Forrest Lowman. Jean's sister Jewel Godman, age 100, of California also survives her.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested by the family that donations be made in Jean's name to the National Osteoporosis Foundation in Arlington, VA. http://www.nof.org
