Our loving mother, Isabel R. Pinto, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on August 31, 1945, in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. In 1962, Isabel moved to Stamford, Connecticut, where she lovingly raised her three children. In 2003, she made her home in Wilton, a community she quickly came to cherish. She delighted in daily walks to and from town, afternoons spent at the library and simple moments shared over coffee with friends and neighbors.Isabel had a deep love for animals and nature, especially birds. She found great joy in watching them visit her patio each day, a quiet ritual that brought her peace and happiness. She also had a natural green thumb and took great pride in nurturing a beautiful collection of houseplants.Giving back to the community that meant so much to her was important to Isabel. She volunteered countless hours with local organizations and dedicated 26 years of service to the Wilton Senior Center.Above all, Isabel treasured time spent with those she loved. She is survived by her loving children: Carmen (Eva) of Kingston, WA; Cindi Aron (Brad) of Weston, CT; and Michael (Cindy) of Wilton, CT; her four grandchildren, Brian, Chelsea, Alexander, and Ashley; her four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Mari LaCalle of Jerez, Spain, along with many beloved family members. A Christian Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Wilton, CT on Saturday, July 11th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
