Gino Restaini, age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 4th, 2023.

Gino was born in Roccagorga, Italy to Enrico Restaini & Angela Rossi. He came from a large family, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He immigrated to the United States in February 1968. He spent his life working as a tailor in various cities before opening his own shop in Westport, CT in 1975. He retired in December 2020. He was a member of Circolo Sportivo Italian Club in Bridgeport, CT. He was an avid Lazio Soccer fan.

Gino married the love of his life, Cheryl, on June 8, 1974 in Wilton, CT. They loved to travel together and saw so many wonderful places throughout the United States and Europe. Gino was a big family man. He is survived by his daughter Stefanie Kousoulas, son-in-law Dean Kousoulas and granddaughter Gianna Kousoulas. He loved being a nonno and had so much fun playing with his Gigi. He loved going to Italy to visit all his siblings and many nieces & nephews.

A wake will be held in his honor on Sunday January 8, 2023 at Bouton Funeral Home in Wilton, CT from 4-7pm . In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that you make a donation in Gino's name to your favorite charity or the American Heart Association.
