Francis "Frank" B. Cullen, a longtime resident of Ridgefield , passed away on Sunday October 30, 2016, at Norwalk Hospital , after being injured in an automobile accident the previous Thursday morning in Wilton .  Born in Ossining , NY on May 22, 1941, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ellen Cullen.

Upon graduating from Ossining High School , (class of 1959), he went on to receive his Engineering Degree from New York School of Engineering in Manhattan .  After receiving his degree, he went on to work as a Mechanical Engineer for a variety of companies before retiring from Avco Lycoming in Stratford , CT.  In his later years, he chose to accept a position as a Professional Chauffeur, which allowed him to pursue his longtime passion for driving automobiles.

Francis is survived by his son, Kevin Cullen of Danbury, daughter, Dana E. Cullen-Valentino, PhD of Bridgewater, NJ, their mother Elaine Trezza of Danbury, CT, grandson Joshua Valentino of Bridgewater, NJ, brother Joseph Cullen of Mahopac, NY, three sisters, Martha Peterson of Mobile, AL, Ellen Harper of Kingston, RI and Therese Sullivan of Wappingers Falls, NY, several nieces and nephews -all whom meant a lot to him.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church Street , Georgetown CT 06829. A memorial ceremony will be held in Ossining , NY at a future date.

The family would like to make a special acknowledgement to longtime friend Robert "Binky", in addition to the many friends and coworkers at Regency Limousine that Frank held dearest and considered family.

The family thanks the staff at Norwalk Hospital ICU and Wilton Police Department for their services and care rendered during the final days of Frank's life.
