Frances M. Russell, age 94, of Redding,  widow of W. Henry Russell passed away peacefully on Monday January 7, 2019 in Ridge Crest at Meadow Ridge in Redding. Born in  Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Thomas M. McMillan Jr. and Julia Talcott. Frances was a resident of Meadow Ridge for 18 years with her husband  Dr. W. Henry Russell who passed away in 2015. Frances was an avid reader and enjoyed reading to children at the local library. She is survived by her sons, James M. ( Patricia) Russell of  Oley, PA,   Peter R. (Robin) Russell of Stamford and Thomas H. Russell and  his wife Amy Rittenhouse of Providence, RI. and  4 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Julia and a brother, Thomas M. McMillan III and sister, Julia Turnbull.  Funeral Services will be held privately. Those who desire may make memorial contributions in her memory  to a favorite library of one's choice  to ensure her passion will continue.
