Edward Weiss' Obituary
Edward Weiss, age 96 of Wilton passed away peacefully on January 24th 2016. He was born in Brooklyn NY Aug 31st 1919 to Joseph Weiss and Lily Sadel Weiss. Edward was married to Anita Weiss for over 50 years who passed away August 18th 2004. Ed proudly served in the US Army Signal Corps during WWll as an enlisted man and Commissioned Officer.
Throughout his life, Ed had many different successful careers but his last career and love affair was with his bees. Known as the Bee Man, he sold his branded honey, Wilton Gold throughout Fairfield county and authored The Queen and I which went into a second printing.
It was Edward's wishes that he be cremated and that wish has been carried out. Arrangements were entrusted to the Bouton Funeral Home 31 W Church Street Georgetown CT 06829.
