It is with profound sadness that we announce that Dolores (Dee) Joan Ambrogio, 93, of Redding, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. She was born November 10, 1927 in Stamford, the daughter of Ralph and Catherine (Colosi) Fabrizio. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Dominick Ambrogio.

She will be fondly remembered for the immense love and devotion she showed for her family, her love of quilting and sewing, and her delicious cooking. She spent many years as an administrative assistant within various corporations and devoted many hours to volunteering with veteran's and children's organizations. She was also a very active member of her church. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, cousin, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed by many.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her 4 daughters Jana (Michael), Lynn (Peter), Donna (Derek), and Judy (Michael), her 8 grandchildren Kristen, Virginia, Chelsea, Caitlin, Samantha, Matthew, Zachary and Jason, as well as her 3 great-grandchildren Mikaela, Mackenzie and Scarlett. She is also survived by her younger sister, Gloria. She is predeceased by both her parents, 3 sisters, Louise, Amy, and Vera, as well as 2 brothers, Alfred and Oswald.

The family will hold a walk-through wake service on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 5-7 pm for anyone who wishes to attend. There will be no funeral service at this time.
