Dhyann Samuelson April15,1961 to February 25,2023

Dhyann was born in Danbury,  CT. and was a lifelong CT. resident. She attended  Danbury High School,  and graduated from Paier College of Art.  Dhyann was an extraordinary artist, landscape designer, gardener and chef. Her love of animals and nature translated into her touching and soulful portraits of animals, landscapes and still lifes. Dhyann was a ray of sunshine and saw beauty in everything and everyone around her. She was loyal and generous, loved by all who were fortunate enough to call her their friend. People were drawn to her warmth and authenticity, ans she metnew friends everywhere she went. She leaves us feeling blessed to have known her and the bright light she naturally shared.

Dhyann was the daughter of the late Jeanette Euler Samuelson and the late Erwin  L. Samuelson. She is survived by sisters Tarol Samuelson-Alvarado of New Milford, Karen Dobson and husband Herbie of New Milford, Patti and Ted Zaloski of New Milford, her step daughter Kate and husband Micchal Sobotka of Woodbury and Jody Nickerson of New Milford along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother Gary Samuelson and sister Janice (DeDe).
