1934 - 2024

Our family wishes to inform our friends, colleagues,

associates and generations of children, parents and

grandparents that their beloved Pediatrician, Dr.

Dean Martin, stepped into eternity on February 29th,

following a valiant battle against Covid-19!

Rather than sad, Dr. Martin wants everyone to be

joyous and celebrate a new beginning on Heaven's shore.

Not goodbye, but au revoir until we meet again!

BORN IN BROOKLYN, NY, on July 25, 1934, his family moved

and to Freeport, Long Island, where he grew up.  Dean lived

only a few blocks from his High School sweetheart,

Eleanor Young Smith, whom he later wed.  They remained in

love and were a dynamic duo for over Sixty-three years!

Their children, William "Brad" Martin and Dave Nelson Martin

were blessed with 4 grandchildren: Tobias; Kathryn; Audrey and

Paige - all of whom impress, inspire, and greatly please

their proud Grandma and Grandpa.

Graveside services will be held at Hillside Cemetery on March 25th

at 11am.
