David Allen Washburn, age 73, passed away on November 8, 2022.  He grew up in Wilton, Connecticut, but at the time of his death was a resident of Casselberry, Florida.

He is survived by his brother Robert Washburn and wife Joann, his brother George Washburn Jr. and his wife Valerie as well as cousin, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mother, George Sr. and Charlotte Washburn of Wilton, Connecticut  and his sister Hope Casolo of Hilton Head, South Carolina. He also leaves behind many lifelong friends.

David was a religious man. After high school, he completed a course of study at the Wood of Life Bible Institute.   He gave much of his time to many local ministry programs in both Connecticut and Florida.  He truly loved people and was always willing to help those that needed it.  He had a wonderful sense of humor, a kind and loving way, as well as a great smile.  He loved sharing stories of his life experiences with everyone.  David was also an accomplished photographer that loved to travel.  He had a special way of seeing the world and capturing it on film.  David especially loved dining out with friends and family as well as searching for antique treasures.

David, while in Connecticut attended Black Rock Church.  After moving to Florida, he became an active participant in the Northland Church in Casselberry and the First Baptist Church of Orlando.  He attended a bible study group and actively participated in the different ministry programs held by these churches.

A graveside service will be held on November 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery, Ridgefield Rd, Wilton, Connecticut.
