MILLS Daisy "Arlene" (Art) Mills, age 97, of Monroe, died January 26, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was a devoted wife to her late husband Albert of 62 years.
Born in Bridgeport, on March 29, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Richard Art Sr. and Lillian Pitts.
She graduated Harding High School. In her early years she worked at Singers in Bridgeport and later the Cash Office of the Read's Department Store until retirement.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Linda Mills of Monroe; and her son, Gary Mills (Debra) of Meriden, grand-daughters, Stacey (Mills) Samuels of Plainville, and Rebecca Mills of Manchester, CT .
She is survived by her sister, Lillian Offenberg (Nikita) and sister-in-law Margaret Art both residing in Florida, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Richard Art Jr. and Alfred Art.
