Carmine Frank Alfieri, age 88, of Melville, New York passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Born in Saviano, Italy he was a son of the late Cichiello 'Frank' Alfieri and Filomena Alloca Alfieri. He immigrated to the US in 1951 and built a life on Long Island that included a large close-knit family, numerous friends and a thriving irrigation business. He was an avid bowler, cutthroat card player, and talented gardener.

Predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Barbara, he is survived by his children: Joseph and his wife Sarah, of Connecticut; Kate, of California; and Frank and his wife Karin, of Florida. Grandchildren: Timothy, Elyssa, Jessica, Frank, and Erika. Predeceased by his brother Joe, he is survived by his siblings: Philip, Antoinette, Margaret, Anna, and Vincent, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Padua R.C. Church, 1025 5th Ave, East Northport, NY 11731. Internment will immediately follow at Northport Rural Cemetery 23 Sandy Hollow Rd, Northport, NY 11768. There will be no calling hours.
