Bryon Arthur Scott Jr, age 90, formally of Georgetown, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center. He was the widower of Lorraine Holmes.

Born in Norwalk, he was a son of the late Bryon Arthur Sr. and Emma Lockwood Scott. He was raised in Wilton graduated from Gilbert and Bennett and was a 1947 graduate of Staples High School.

Bryon, along with his cousin Charles Pfahl owned and operated Wilton Decorating Service for over 30 years. "Scotty", as he was called by all who knew him, was an avid woodworker. He could create any piece of furniture and fix anything. He enjoyed his summers on Cape Cod going clamming and fishing. He was a loving family man who coached his sons for the Wilton Little League, team the "Devils".

Scotty loved watching the Jets and the Mets, often going to games with his grandsons. In his later life he traveled with his wife, enjoyed the company of his grand and great grand children and relished a good game of golf with friends and his sons.

He was a member of the senior league and past president of the Ridgefield Golf Club, a long time member of the Wilton Lions Club, life time member and past president of the Wilton Athletic Club.

Bryon is survived by his children Doug and wife Debby of South Carolina, Jerry and wife Susan of Danbury, Gale Ungar and husband David of Redding and Brenda Ricco and husband Ernest of Wilton, 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and sister Dorothy Lockwood of Ridgefield . He was predeceased by wife Lorraine Scott of Georgetown, son Bruce Scott and his wife Angelica, as well as brothers Ralph and Robert.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church St. Georgetown CT 06829. Friends may greet his family from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m.
