Ann Richardson Miller
1955 – 2025

Ann Richardson Miller, 70, of Redding, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, after a multi-year battle with mesothelioma.

Born in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late William and Lydia Slater Bartlett Richardson. Ann dedicated much of her professional life to independent schools, where she was deeply committed to education, community, and helping young people flourish. Ann served as the head of admissions and financial aid at The Madeira School in McLean, Virginia, and Greens Farms Academy in Westport, Connecticut. She was known for her warmth, humor, and her extraordinary ability to make everyone feel like a friend. Beyond her work, Ann took delight in spending time with family and friends, reading good books, and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff; her sons, Brad and Andrew; her sisters, Maggie McGirr, Julie Richardson, and Jo Lawrence; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
