Angela Di Battista Nazzaro, 90 of Norwalk, Connecticut passed away on May 9, 2020 at Norwalk Hospital from complications due to the COVID-19 virus. Angie will be joining her loving family in heaven. Angie is survived by her son, John A. Nazzaro; her daughter Nancy Chase and husband Jeff Chase; her daughter Mary Griffin and husband Tom Griffin; sister-in-law Connie Di Battista and numerous nieces and nephews. Angie is preceded in death by her former husband Augustus J. Nazzaro, parents Giulio Di Battista and mother Rosa Canale, sisters Domenica Di Battista Capparella, Filomena Di Battista Chuilli and Maria Di Battista Radocchia and brother Raphael Di Battista.
Angie was born and raised in Corvara, Italy. It was there that she married Augustus J. Nazzaro and moved to the United States of America in 1949 to live in Ridgefield, Connecticut. She was a resident of Connecticut for the remainder of her life, most recently at Autumn Lakes Healthcare in Norwalk, Connecticut.
